Add a touch of authentic rustic charm to your home decor with this unique, multi-functional vintage cast iron swivel candle holder manufactured by the historic Iron Art Company (Phillipsburg, NJ, mid-century era). This ingenious heavy iron piece features a dual-purpose swinging gimbal design. It can rest flat on a tabletop utilizing three small integrated feet—where the classic shield plate doubles as a furniture-protecting trivet. Alternatively, it can be flipped upwards and hung directly on a wall as a gothic wall sconce. Thanks to its gravity-fed swivel joint mechanism, the candle cup automatically self-levels to remain perfectly upright and prevent wax from spilling whether it is sitting flat or wall-mounted. Features & Markings: Authenticity: Stamped clearly on the reverse side with the official mold identification markings: JM20, IRON ART, and production number 3. Material: Heavy, solid black cast iron with a classic textured finish. Aesthetic Styles: Complements Gothic, Medieval, Spanish Revival, Colonial, Primitive, Cottagecore, or Dark Academia interior designs. Approximate Measurements: Length: ~7.5 inches Width: ~4.75 inches Weight: Approx. 1 lb 8 oz Condition: Excellent pre-loved vintage condition. Solid structure with smooth swiveling function. Very light natural aging/surface patina present on the metal which adds to its rustic antique appeal. Please review all photos carefully to see specific measurements. Candle in example photos isn't included
