This is a portable tape recorder, the RQ-190, manufactured by National (now Panasonic). Born in the Showa era, this unit still stands quietly, gently conveying the technology and atmosphere of its time. [Features] - Transistor-based solid-state system Utilizing transistors instead of vacuum tubes, this system achieves small size, light weight, and low power consumption, making it convenient for carrying. - Open reel system This type uses magnetic tape wound on reels, offering the unique charm of analog recording. - Includes recording microphone (unconfirmed) A microphone, believed to be the original, is included. - Operation diagram on the inside of the lid The lid's interior clearly illustrates operation and connection methods. [Condition] - We have confirmed that the power turns on and the reels rotate. - As we do not have a tape on hand, detailed operations such as recording and playback have not been confirmed. - The microphone's functionality is also unconfirmed. - The exterior shows scuffs and minor scratches due to age. [For those considering purchase] This item is being sold as a junk item (as-is). Recommended for those who plan to repair or maintain it, or who wish to enjoy the atmosphere of retro equipment. There is no guarantee of operation, so please consider it for display or decorative purposes. Click here for the manufacturer's site
