【Yamaha】Digital Tuner T-2000W This tuner is a flagship product with extremely high technical perfection among Yamaha tuners designed in the late 1980s. Developed with Yamaha's accumulated technology, it was designed to achieve both excellent reception performance and sound quality, and is still highly regarded by enthusiasts today. 2. Function and Operation Confirmation For this listing, we confirmed all 8 stations by receiving cable FM broadcasts (8 stations: see photo 9) provided by J:COM. The following points (1) to (5) were checked and found to be without any particular issues. *Photos 4 and 8 show the screen when receiving NHK-FM while fine-tuning the frequency to 80.90MHz. (1) Decrease in FM/AM reception sensitivity, misalignment of front-end adjustment (2) Non-illumination or reduced brightness of the digital display (3) Poor button contact (especially for preset and mode switching) (4) Leakage from internal electrolytic capacitors (visual inspection with cover removed) (5) Looseness of antenna terminals 3. Product Features (1) Digital fine-tuning with 0.01MHz steps allows for precise frequency adjustment, enabling accurate tuning even in areas with interference due to its precise design. (2) High sensitivity and selectivity are achieved with an FM front-end equivalent to a 5-gang variable capacitor in analog tuners, making it robust for long-distance reception. (3) Equipped with a 5-WAY MULTI-STATE MEMORY that can store not only reception frequencies but also reception modes. (4) The REC CALIBRATOR allows for optimal adjustment of recording levels on the deck side when recording FM/AM broadcasts. (5) Equipped with a multipath meter for convenient antenna adjustment. 4. Sound Quality Characteristics (1) High transparency and natural sound. (2) Excellent realism and reproduces a spacious soundstage. 5. Purchase Date June 1989 6. Overhaul Not performed as it was not deemed necessary. 7. Exterior Used in an audio rack since purchase, the exterior is almost scratch-free and in near-new condition. *Please refer to the photos for the audio rack. 8.
