100% Made in Japan This is a top-quality, completely domestic product, from the screws to everything else. This is not a standard item, so it is the only one available. Please purchase it as is. High-speed steel Powdered steel Super Gold Steel SG2 steel These are considered the highest grade materials among current scissor steels. With other manufacturers, this steel would undoubtedly cost over 100,000 yen. Incidentally, even within the same material, there are brands, and there are semi-finished products of high-grade SG and low-grade SG. This is a high-grade material adopted by several well-known scissor manufacturers in Japan. It is on the same level as the steel used by Nari*to and Heine*ster. *Please note that this product is not a non-contact point type construction. This material is from a manufacturer that many top-tier scissor makers use. What's the difference when the steel is top-grade? Many people mistakenly believe it simply cuts better, so let me explain. Scissor material is measured by hardness, indicated by a number. If it's harder, it's more resistant to wear, meaning the sharpness can be maintained for longer. The lifespan of scissors is determined by how many times they can be maintained and used. If the number of maintenance sessions, i.e., sharpening, decreases, the lifespan increases. Be careful, as unskilled sharpeners can significantly reduce the blade's edge. If you choose a sharpener based on price, just like your teeth, the blade will be ground down more and more until it eventually disappears. One of the disadvantages of high-speed steel is that some people find the cutting feel to be stiff. Others describe it as a clean cut, so preferences vary. *Therefore, please understand that the highest grade material does not necessarily mean it's the sharpest in the world. However, it is undoubtedly of high quality for professional use. Cutting Feel For hairdressers and beauticians, it's not just about whether it cuts or not. Some judge based on the feel of the cut, on a higher level. Those who prefer a soft cutting feel will consider scissors that provide that feel to be the sharpest. Many people describe the cutting feel as tenacious or soft. V-Gold No. 10 corresponds to cobalt steel called ATS. High-speed steel is harder than cobalt steel. Normal Type 6 inches 56g Total length: approx. 17.5 cm Blade length: approx. 6.7 cm Up to the finger rest: approx. 16.0 cm Steel: High-speed steel SG2 This model has bearings. *We accept returns if you are not satisfied with the sharpness. Please only purchase if you agree to bear the return shipping costs via a method with delivery confirmation. Click here for the manufacturer's site
