【Title】 Rare 1960s Vintage Gothic Ridge Cresting Cast Aluminum Roof Ornament 【Product Description】 This is a beautiful, gothic-style ridge cresting (roof ornament/fixture) from the mid-Showa period (1960s), which is now extremely difficult to find. Made of lightweight and rust-resistant cast aluminum with a silver painted finish. It has a classical and substantial appearance while being easy to handle. 【Attractive Uses】 Perfect for authentic Western-style mansions and greenhouses as roof ornaments, or for sunroom decorations. It also creates a fantastic atmosphere as a gardening fence, for indoor or bay window displays, wall decorations, or as interior fixtures for shops. 【Set Contents & Size】 ■ Horizontal pieces with connecting patterns: 3 pieces ?Size: Approx. 84cm (width) x 21.5cm (height) ?Weight: Approx. 1,850g per piece *Installation: Each piece has two screw holes. ■ Arched top piece (ridge ornament): 1 piece ?Size: Approx. 72cm (width) x 23cm (height) ?Weight: Approx. 850g *Installation: Features two protrusions with screw holes. ??【Important Notes (Please Read Carefully)】 ?Due to age-related deterioration of the paint, some areas may be peeling. ?The areas where the plating (paint) has peeled show aluminum's characteristic white rust, which adds a wonderful vintage and shabby charm from the passage of time. ?This is a bargain listing including shipping, so we cannot accept individual sales. Please purchase as a set. As this is a very old item, please only purchase if you understand and appreciate antique and vintage items. Please check the images for details on the condition. #Vintage #Antique #Gothic #IronFence #CastAluminum #RidgeCresting #RoofOrnament #Fixture #Gardening #BayWindowDecor #ShopFixture #ShowaRetro #1960s #OriginalItem #ShabbyChic #WesternMansion #OldTools Ridge cresting is a decorative element installed on the ridge of a roof or the top of glass structures such as greenhouses and sunrooms. Originally made of metal, it also served the role of protecting the roof from birds as a roof ornament. However, it is now primarily used as a decorative element that adds completeness and a sophisticated impression to a building's design. Click here for the manufacturer's site
