Folding Knife Folds without looseness and folds without any issues. It is new and unused, but it is quite old, so please refer to the photos. Listed as found when taken out of the box. However, it is a very wonderful and tasteful item. For collectors and knife enthusiasts, how about this one? The color of this item this time is very attractive. For those who understand this item, please consider and purchase. Thank you. [From the Internet] * This may not be the definitive explanation, but I hope it is helpful. ?? The presence of the complete tags indicates that this knife is not just an old blade, but has value as a **collector's item that tells a story.** Three elements that constitute the value of this knife: 1. Rarity of Occupied Japan The imprint **MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN** on the tag is its greatest value. It is proof of manufacture in Japan under GHQ occupation from 1947 to 1952, a short five-year period, and there are passionate collectors worldwide. This marking alone makes it traded separately from ordinary antique knives. 2. The sample tag remains in perfect condition. This is the most important point. ? Story: It proves that this is an export sample sent by Sumikama Cutlery in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, to overseas markets such as the United States during post-war reconstruction. ? Complete item: It is extremely rare for a tag with the original price (1.80 dollars per dozen) and product number handwritten on it to remain without the string breaking, making it of extremely high documentary value. 3. Manufacturer's brand power The manufacturer, **SUMIKAMA CUTLERY**, is a leading high-end cutlery manufacturer in Seki City even today. Being an early product from a currently existing famous company is also attractive to collectors interested in the company's history. This is what it says. ??The last photo, the 9th one, was stored in a box. For reference. * The yellow box at the end is not an accessory. Please note that it is not included! Thank you for looking.
