【Miraculous Deadstock! A Treasure for Showa Retro & Mercari Enthusiasts】 Thank you for viewing. As stated in my profile regarding Lightning-Fast Shipping, I will respond promptly after your purchase! ■ Product Name 1984 (Showa 59) Mitsui Life Insurance Novelty Item Mushroom Soup Recipe Card with the Rare Aluminum Calendar for Wristwatches (October) ■ Product Description This is an extremely rare, vintage recipe card distributed by Mitsui Life Insurance sales representatives (life insurance ladies) in 1984. The main highlight is the [mini calendar (October 1984) that attaches to a wristwatch band] located at the top right. This was a nostalgic item that Showa-era businessmen eagerly attached to their watches back then. Amazingly, it has survived to this day in a miraculous deadstock condition, [completely unused and without deterioration, still unpeeled]. The cover features a nostalgic and evocative Mushroom Soup recipe photo, while the back contains a detailed recipe by culinary researcher Toyoko Okubo, along with trivia about spinach (mini encyclopedia). ■ Product Condition Although it is a paper and aluminum product over 40 years old, it has been carefully stored in a dark place. Therefore, including the wristwatch calendar at the top right, it is in superb, excellent condition with almost no noticeable stains, fading, or deterioration. This is a museum-quality piece that collectors of Showa retro culture, corporate novelty enthusiasts, and fans of vintage items may never see again. I am listing this item to organize my collection, targeting serious enthusiasts who understand its value. I will ensure complete protection against folding and moisture, pack it carefully, and ship it promptly. This is a one-of-a-kind item, first come, first served. If you feel a connection, please take this opportunity to add it to your collection!
