This is a rare deadstock set containing all the authentic tools for Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. The outer box, featuring a vibrant yellow with a green daisy pattern, has a very modern and charming design that reflects the trends of its time. It is unusual for this package to remain in such pristine condition, making this item highly valuable as a collectible. The set is exceptionally comprehensive, including practical tools that can handle professional Ikebana techniques. It features floral shears for cleanly cutting plant stems, a specialized saw for processing thick branches, and a blade resembling a machete for cutting thick branches, distinguished by its white cord-wrapped handle. All these blades are still sealed in their individual plastic bags, retaining their original luster. Notably, the set includes a water-absorbing pump (syringe) with beautiful brass and silver finishes. This is a specialized instrument used to inject water directly into plant stems to maintain freshness, and it would be expensive to acquire even individually. Furthermore, a small tool, believed to be a Kenzan (flower frog) straightener with a bell, is also included, making this a complete set with meticulous attention to detail. The storage case is a vivid red color, with holders inside to secure each tool. It features a reliable YKK zipper for smooth opening and closing. The case itself shows no signs of use, and the white fabric inside remains very clean. Overall, while the contents gleam like new, the outer box and instructions possess a unique aged new quality, having quietly accumulated decades of time. As the original HIGH CLASS SPECIAL QUALITY label suggests, the high quality is evident throughout. This set is an invaluable opportunity for those who wish to seriously begin Ikebana, as well as for enthusiasts of Showa-era retro crafts and vintage tools. Please experience the functional beauty of these substantial tools, filled with the craftsmanship and design of their era. #Ikebana #JapaneseFlowerArrangement #ShowaRetro #Deadstock #Vintage #Kado #IkebanaTools #FlowerShears #Antique #Crafts Click here for the manufacturer's site
