Purchased 50 years ago (1976) and used only on New Year's Day for a few years, it has since been carefully stored. I am now selling it as part of decluttering. Due to long-term storage, the wooden and paper boxes, as well as the wrapping paper, showed significant deterioration. I have replaced the wrapping paper, but I would like to deliver the paper and wooden boxes as they are for storage and shipping purposes. I don't believe there are any noticeable scratches, but this is from an amateur's perspective, so please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection. Tray: Width approx. 39.5cm, Depth approx. 27cm, Height approx. 9cm Sake Stand: Width approx. 14cm, Height approx. 13cm Sake Cups (Large): Diameter approx. 13cm (Medium): Diameter approx. 11cm (Small): Diameter approx. 9cm Sake Ewer: Width (including spout) approx. 19cm, Height approx. 6cm, Handle approx. 10cm, Spout approx. 7cm, Lid Diameter approx. 6cm, Knob approx. 0.7mm ???Photos 17, 18, and 19 show an *extra gift*: 100-year-old hire-wan (Nagasaki region). The white paper part of the wooden box has a personal name on it, so I have covered it. These were prepared to celebrate my father's birth in 1925 (Taisho 14). Coincidentally, the pattern is similar to the toso-ki (sake set), so although they are 100-year-old items, I am offering them as an *extra gift*. However, some of the bowls have fine scratches inside. There are 8 bowls in total; please let me know how many you would like. Bowl Dimensions: Mouth Diameter: approx. 13cm Depth: approx. 4.5cm (considerably shallower than usual) Base: approx. 0.5cm Mouth Diameter: approx. 12cm Depth: approx. 1cm ??Please let me know if you do not need the bowls. ??The bowls are a gift, so the price is for the toso-ki set only. Although I am inexperienced, I will pack and ship with as much care as possible. I hope this finds a good home. *What is Hire-wan?* It is said to be a clear soup served in the Nagasaki region in the past to express hospitality before a celebratory toast. It was a luxurious bowl containing ingredients such as sea bream (meaning a whole fish was used), mochi, shiitake mushrooms, and green vegetables. Click here for the manufacturer's site
