A wonderful vintage kitchen workhorse, this aluminum chinois cone strainer set comes complete with two wire stands and a solid wooden pestle. Traditionally used for making applesauce, tomato sauce, fruit purées, jams, jellies, soups, and canning preparations, this classic kitchen tool remains just as useful today as when it was originally made. Designed to separate seeds, skins, and pulp from fruits and vegetables, the cone-shaped strainer sits securely in the included wire stand while food is pressed through using the wooden pestle. Whether you're preparing homemade applesauce from orchard-fresh apples, making garden tomato sauce, processing berries for jelly, or adding an authentic vintage tool to your farmhouse kitchen collection, this versatile piece is ready to serve. The wooden pestle is solid with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The set shows normal signs of age an
