This is the Canon Single-8 518, a renowned camera for the Single-8 format (Fujifilm). This is a rare unit where the exposure meter (AUTO mode), which is the most prone to malfunction in 8mm cameras of this era, is functioning properly. The exterior is also very clean considering its age, making it ideal for those who want to enjoy actual filming. [Operation Confirmation Details] Drive: Confirmed that all shooting modes (18 fps normal, 36 fps slow, and single frame) operate using 4 AA batteries. Exposure: The indicator needle in the viewfinder moves smoothly according to brightness, and the aperture blades are linked. Zoom: Both electric and manual zoom operate smoothly. [Condition] Exterior: Overall in beautiful condition, but there is unremovable yellowing (discoloration) due to age on the resin parts around the lens. Please check the photos. Optics: Both the lens and viewfinder are clear. [Important: Operational Quirks and As-Is Sale] This item is a vintage product from the 1960s and is sold as-is with the following quirks: Exposure Setting: The manual dial is stuck and can only be used in AUTO mode. Running Switch: The switch on the side of the body operates in continuous running mode at the • position and in trigger-linked mode at the R position. Returns and Warranty: This is a very old and precise piece of equipment, and the price has been set considering the above condition. We kindly ask that returns, refunds, or complaints after purchase cannot be accommodated. Please carefully review the product description and photos, and only purchase if you understand the characteristics of vintage cameras. [Accessories] Main unit (*Batteries are not included) The item will be carefully packaged and shipped via Mercari delivery service. Click here for the manufacturer's site
