Sodium bisulfate is a safe pH and KH reducer for humans, also used in public swimming pools. It has been well-received by many past buyers. Nitric acid and hydrochloric acid, traditionally used in aquariums, are becoming difficult to obtain for general use due to security concerns in recent years. Furthermore, commercially available pH reducers can be costly for continuous use. We offer this product to those who keep and breed fish species that prefer low pH, or cultivate aquatic plants, allowing them to perform water changes more affordably and without hesitation. I have personally confirmed that it is harmless to fish and shrimp. It has been well-received by many past buyers. As an example of usage: To lower the pH of tap water from pH 6.5, KH 4, GH 5 to pH 5.5. Approximately 1.2g per 10L is required. To lower the pH of tap water by 1 within the normal range: 100g of sodium bisulfate can be used for approximately 0.5 to 1 ton of water. 500g of sodium bisulfate can be used for approximately 2.5 to 5 tons of water. *For reference, using Tetra pH/KH Minus under the same conditions as above: One 500ml bottle can be used for approximately 0.83 tons of water. Adjust the usage amount as a guideline, typically 1g to 2g per 10L for normal water quality. For convenience, it is recommended to dilute 100g of this product in 500ml of purified water (or tap water) and use 5ml to 10ml per 10L. * Use when adding new water during water changes. Direct dosing into the aquarium may cause damage if the concentrated solution comes into contact with aquatic life. * Usage examples are for reference only.
