Bring timeless European artistry into your home with this vintage Belgian jacquard woven wall tapestry featuring The Adoration of the Magi after the celebrated 1624 masterpiece by Peter Paul Rubens. Richly woven with intricate detail and vibrant color, this classic textile captures the biblical scene of the Three Wise Men presenting gifts to the Christ Child, framed by an elegant ornamental floral border. Crafted in Belgium using traditional jacquard weaving techniques, this decorative tapestry features the woven P.P. Rubens signature in the lower right corner and includes a sewn hanging sleeve on the reverse for easy wall display with a rod (not included). Whether displayed year-round or as part of a Christmas or Nativity collection, this tapestry makes a striking statement in traditional, Old World, European, or religious-inspired interiors. It is equally appealing to collectors of Belgian textiles, Rubens artwork, biblical décor, and vintage woven tapestries. Great vintage condition overall and displays beautifully. There are a few minor fabric pulls and small runs in the weave, including areas near the cow and Magis clothing. The fabric backing shows some age-related staining/discoloration, particularly near the hanging rod pocket, as well as a tiny pinhole on the backside. * Approximate size: 43 H × 29.5 W
