Silmido / SILMIDO ('03 Korea) (2-Disc Set) Sol Kyung-gu / Ahn Sung-ki / Kang Woo-suk List Price: ¥3800 This is a DVD of a documentary movie about an assassination unit targeting Kim Il-sung, which moved 12 million people to tears. The shocking truth and fate of men tossed about by the times are painfully poignant... a definitive masterpiece of a tear-jerker for men. This is a 2-disc set with a limited first pressing, a deluxe outer case, and packed with bonus footage. There are no noticeable scratches or dirt, but as this is a home-stored item, we would appreciate your understanding before purchasing. In April 1968, 31 death row inmates and serious offenders were sent to the uninhabited island of Silmido. There, in exchange for their sentences being commuted, they were ordered to assassinate North Korean supreme leader Kim Il-sung and were trained into a top-secret assassination unit. However, due to a shift in government foreign policy, the assassination plan was canceled. Furthermore, the government ordered the military to eliminate this unit... DISC 1 1. Audio Commentary 2.
