Add a striking, rustic piece of history to your home decor or collection with this beautiful vintage Mexican folk art medieval knight sculpture. Masterfully handcrafted by artisans from mid-century sheet metal, this figure features a bold silhouette displaying intricate hand-punched, dotted, and textured detailing across the breastplate, helmet visor, spear, and shield. This authentic piece proudly bears the clean MEXICO stamp on the bottom of its metal pedestal base, tying it directly to the traditional mid-to-late 20th-century hojalata (tin art) craft movements. The sculpture stands an impressive 15 inches tall and boasts a remarkably deep, naturally aged dark patina that gives it incredible character, warmth, and a subtle mid-century brutalist vibe. Because it is entirely handmade, it carries unique rustic variations that make it a true one-of-a-kind statement piece for any shelf, mantel, or eclectic home gallery.Key Features:Origin: Stamped MEXICO clearly on the bottom base.Material: Hand-cut, bent, and detailed punched mixed metal tin.Size: Stands 15 tall from the base to the crest of the helmet.Detail: Intricate armor composition featuring a spear and shield.Finish: Beautifully naturally darkened vintage patina. Please review all listing photos closely to appreciate the genuine vintage wear, minor oxidation spots, and handmade details that define this special folk art piece.
