# Click here for Stag Beetle & Rhinoceros Beetle Products on Mercari! For Stag Beetle Larvae Only This is a listing for crushed black abalone mushroom substrate mat. This substrate mat is made from 100% oak sawdust, which stag beetles prefer, and finished with the highest quality black abalone mushroom mycelium. 5 Liters: ￥2,250 (Free Shipping) 1 x 5-liter bag Comes in a resealable bag for convenient storage. Please contact us if you would like to add more liters; we will combine shipping. This mat has a very high repeat customer rate, with many large individuals being produced. Even with the same substrate, mats finished with black abalone mushroom mycelium are preferred by stag beetles and result in larger individuals. Black abalone mushroom is expensive and difficult to obtain. Can be used for all types of stag beetle larvae, both domestic and foreign (suitable for kuwagata like Ookuwa, Nijiiro, Hirata, Giraffa, etc., that prefer mycelium-based food). This mat, made from crushed black abalone mushroom substrate, has excellent nutritional value. They eat it voraciously. The key to raising large adult stag beetles is to feed them plenty of high-quality food during their larval stage. With high-quality substrate, stag beetle larvae will continue to eat heartily. It is versatile, can be packed into bottles or portioned into pudding cups, and is more economical for raising than mycelium bottles. You can also add additives to this mat to create your own fermented mat. Ready to use, no need for degassing or adding water. *This mat is not for making mycelium bottles. It is for mat-based rearing rather than mycelium rearing. It is also ideal as a raw material for creating your own fermented mat by adding additives. Black abalone mushroom substrate is rare and can only be harvested in very small quantities. During peak demand, shipping may take some time. Please inquire via the question section for estimated shipping times. *The size of the emerged adult will vary greatly depending on the bloodline and rearing environment such as temperature control. For those seeking only size in mycelium-based stag beetles (Ookuwa, Hirata, Nijiiro, etc.), I recommend the mycelium bottles I offer separately. I also offer other products such as premium fermented mat, Ookuwa beetle-specific calorie mat, fermented mat for rhinoceros beetles, coniferous mat ideal for adult management, perches for adult rearing and display, high-grade pro jelly, Himalaya stag beetle mycelium bottles, kawara mushroom mycelium bottles, Himalaya stag beetle mycelium blocks, and black abalone mushroom mycelium bottles. Please check my other listings. Separate shipping fees apply for Okinawa and remote islands. Click here for the manufacturer's site
